I believe if you go back to google.com again, it doesn’t reforward you. Regardless though, if you use Firefox (and you should), you can add quicksearches for whatever you want, and search from the address bar.
Google should allow me to use google.com instead of google.ie

Every time I use Google Search I get redirected to google.ie, which is missing the video link. If I want to search for a video I can’t just type the search term in my browser’s search box and then click video when the page comes up, because it comes up as google.ie.
